The 45G South East Asian Tank

Home

The "Sumatra" tank is our first attempt at creating an aquarium around a specific geographic region. After working on the tank for a few weeks the bug has taken full hold and we are going to continue this trend. Already we've stocked a south American tank and looking forward to some African Cichlids.

As our first tank of this nature we feel it will always have a special place in our hearts, especially after watching the Loaches dance endlessly for us. This varied assortment of species from South East Asia has worked out very well, with no major squabbles or injuries.

***Update*** This Tank will soon be home to the contents of the 22 Gallon Tank.  The current inhabitants will be moving into their new 135 Gallon home to make room for the aggressive fish.
